Before you book

Booked in, out, and on with your day.

Waxing is the part of the menu people put off longest and think about least once they have found someone they trust. We keep it fast, keep it clean, and keep the conversation going if you would rather be distracted.

If you wax the same area every month, the Brazilian Beauty membership covers a monthly Brazilian for less than a single one costs, and the money still lands in your spa wallet if you would rather use it elsewhere.

  • Growth

About a quarter inch, roughly two weeks of growth, gives the wax something to hold. Shaving between appointments resets that clock.

  • Timing

Every four to six weeks keeps regrowth on the same cycle, which is what makes each appointment easier than the last.

  • First time

Tell us. We will talk you through what is happening before it happens, and we go at the pace you want.

  • Skin products

Let us know if you use a retinol or have had a recent peel or facial treatment. We may adjust the area or move the appointment rather than risk lifting skin.

What people say

Saw Amanda for eyebrow shaping, lip and chin wax and it was amazing. Such attention to detail and very relaxing. The business itself was very welcoming, clean and smelled fantastic. Looking forward to experiencing other treatments.

I was so impressed with the services I received. I was nervous after having a bad experience somewhere else. Amanda was recommended and I was not disappointed!

Questions

Waxing, answered

  1. How long does my hair need to be?
About a quarter of an inch, which is roughly two weeks of growth. If it is shorter, the wax has nothing to grip and you will be back sooner than you want.
  2. How often should I come in?
Every four to six weeks for most areas. Staying on a cycle means finer regrowth and a quicker appointment each time.
  3. Is a first Brazilian as bad as people say?
The first is the most uncomfortable and it is over quickly. Say it is your first when you book and your esthetician will talk you through each step as it comes.
  4. Is the Brazilian membership worth it?
If you book a Brazilian monthly, yes. The membership costs less per month than a single Brazilian. The payment goes into your spa wallet, never expires, and can go toward any service if you skip a month.
